Air Brake Endorsement Training (“Z”): Overview
This 2-day Air Brake Endorsement Training program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and practical skills required to operate vehicles equipped with air brake systems safely and legally. Participants will receive in-depth classroom instruction and hands-on practical training to prepare for the Ministry of Transportation’s written and practical tests. Upon successful completion, students will be qualified to add the “Z” endorsement to their Ontario driver’s license, authorizing them to operate vehicles with air brakes. MTO & TTSAO Approved.
Heavy Equipment Operator Course: Length of Full Training
12 Hours / 2 Days
- Day 1 – 7 Hours
- Day 2 – 5 Hours

$350 per person
Air Brake Endorsement Training (“Z”): Admission Requirements
- Maximum class size: 15–16 students
- Must hold a valid “G” Ontario driver’s license
- Fundamentals of air brake systems
- Brake component identification and function
