Transportation of Dangerous Goods

 

Course Objective: 

This training course will provide participants with the information needed to comply with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations. They will acquire the knowledge of how dangerous goods are classified and understand the regulations. Reporting procedures in the event of an emergency will also be discussed. The course is instructor led with group discussions and case studies.  Participants will have a working knowledge of the Clean Language Legislation and how it affects their positions.

Who should attend Transportation of Dangerous Goods Training?

The answer to the above question is: *Section 6.1 of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations states that a person who handles, offers for transport, or transports dangerous goods must be adequately trained and hold a training certificate.
